Annually, they have this Tubod Festival to honor their patron saint and show how thankful they are for the abundant natural source of water from the "tubod." They also have a "mardi gras" associated by the many barangays in the province and showcase every talent Tuburanons possess.



Tuburan also has their very famous Molobolo spring, where people from the place or even tourists come to visit if they want to enjoy a very relaxing time or splash on the very refreshing and natural water from the spring.

Tuburan is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 58,914 people.
Tuburan is the hometown of the revolutionary leader Arcadio Maxilom. The Arcadio Maxilom Memorial Library in the Tuburan Museum is named after him.
Tuburan is known for its crystal-clear springs, beaches, creeks, rivers, caves and natural splendours that draw adventure-seekers and nature-lovers. Among the scenic spots are the springs of Molobolo, Mantawihan, Little Baguio, the Marmol Cliff and Cave, Lantawan Lookout, and the Friendship, Daan Lungsod and Apalan white beaches.
Industrial and domestic products include decorative apparels and fashion accessories made of sea and coconut shells, wood and other indigenous products. Tuburan is likewise indulged in civic and socio-cultural activities and religious events. Launched three years ago, the colorful festivity billed Tubod Festival is held in honor of the Parish’ patron, Saint Anthony of Padua. This great activity demonstrates the Tuburanon temperament, culture and religious devotion.
